How do Hi-Q Military Antennas perform compared to larger legacy systems?
Our HF mobile antennas are superior to conventional mobile HF antenna systems, which feature a long, non-resonant whip and an external coupler. These antenna systems usually weigh 17 to 30 pounds (8 to 14 kilograms), creating a very tall, heavy, and cumbersome mobile installation that requires the whips to be tied down to the vehicle’s front for driving on normal roadways with low overpasses or power lines, not to mention dense forests.
